Published the Decision 475 of 1 August 2023 relating to Innovative PhDs what programme EUR 14.5 million for the enhancement of high-profile skills capable of increasing industrial innovation and the employment of young graduates from Campania.
The instrument will act in synergy with the resources of the NRRP, which for the academic year 2023-2024 will be able to activate up to 2,000 doctoral scholarships launched by universities in Campania on the regional territory.
Innovative PhDs respond to the innovation needs of companies and promote the recruitment of researchers for the enhancement of skills, especially in the areas of Enabling Technologies, and provide for the contribution and involvement of companies, strengthening collaboration between the public research system and the private system.
Through the National Platform for Innovative PhDs NRRPs companies will be able to identify a doctoral path offered by a university useful to their research and innovation needs.
To this end, for each doctorate, it will be possible to contact the university concerned, participate in the funding of a grant, view the details of the affiliated companies and any new participating companies.
In particular, the Campania Region intends to encourage Campanian companies to request the activation of doctoral courses aimed also at the creation of new jobs, supplementing the resources provided for by the NRRP to ensure financing, through Campania universities, with supplementary quotas of grants for periods of research and study abroad.
