A training course for information workers was held in the Galileo room of the Multimedia Valley in Giffoni. Realized in collaboration between the Campania Region, the Managing Authority of the PR Campania ERDF 2021-2027, and the Order of Journalists of Campania, the course aimed to raise awareness among journalists on the meaning of the European Cohesion Policy and regional programming. The course, introduced by the President of the Regional Order, Ottavio Lucarelli, was attended, among others, by the founder of the Festival, Claudio Gubitosi, who, as a beneficiary of numerous grants, explained how, thanks to the regional programming of European funds, he managed to create development in a ‘marginal’ area of Campania. The genesis of the Cohesion Policy, including a vision of future scenarios, was the focus of the intervention of Maurizio Di Pietro, manager of the Campania Region – MA PR Campania FESR 2021-2027, while the communication activities related to the Regional Fund, also with a detail on initiatives related to young people such as participation in the project ‘A Scuola di OpenCoesione’ were illustrated by journalists expert in institutional communication, Paolo De Nigris and Fabio Relino.
