THE NEWS

In the2024-2025, the path is profoundly renewed in the graphics and in its structure: On the one hand, the project has seen a extraordinary updating of its didactic contents On the other hand, one simplification of the outputs to be produced with a remodulation of the calendar and the related deadlines.

From this twelfth edition, the model ASOC is divided into 3 Lessons. This is a specific educational program that promotes the development of skills in civic education, digital, statistics and data journalism through the use of digital content, designed to carry out the survey and field research (video-lessons, interviews, tutorials and animations).

Teachers who wish to submit their application must choose one of the three addresses in which the ASOC path is articulated.

ASOC in Italian

Multilingual ASOC

  • ASOC in Englishe: English-language address for upper secondary schools. Teams that choose to carry out ASOCs in English must choose to monitor a project funded by European resources (ERDF, ESF/ESF+).

The ways in which the ASOC project is integrated into teaching can be assessed independently by the individual class council. For example, you can implement the path as content Didactic Curriculum (e.g. Civic education) or extracurricular, and as a route PCTO (Path for Transversal Competences and Guidance) including by involving local networks in support of schools.

As regards theCivic education, ASOC makes available to teachers and students didactic content relating to the three conceptual cores that constitute the pillars of the Law 92/2019, which can be used for the purposes of institute curricular design, for the achievement of the 33 annual hours:

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP

CONSTITUTION, law (national and international), legality and solidarity

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, environmental education, knowledge and protection of heritage and territory
