Presented the organic framework of policy actions for lhigher education, the digital skills, theemployment and theAttraction of young talent, implemented by the Campania Region and supported by the European Union’s cohesion policy.

A set of tools, funded through the European Social Fund, to train a new generation of digital talent and attract human capital from abroad. A mix of internationalization of skills that finds in the infrastructures created with the European Regional Development Fund of Campania the place to transform talent into employment. One of them is the San Giovanni a Teduccio hub of the University of Naples ‘Federico II’, home to Apple’s only European Academy and numerous other innovative academies.

16 Academies on different technological supply chains, with the presence of large multinationals that have chosen Campania as their first region in Italy for the training of digital talents.

To present the initiatives the president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, the Councillor for Research, Innovation and Start-ups, Valeria Fascione (disambiguation), the managing director Accenture Technology, Raffaele D’Orsi, Oniverse’s Head of IT, Antonio Fratta Pasini, Senior Director Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives, Apple Alisha Johnson, and Antonio Garofalo, Rector of Parthenope University and President of the CUR – Regional Coordination Committee of Campania Universities.

Innovative doctorates with industrial characterization
€10 million

Funding of doctoral studies implemented in collaboration between universities and companies, to encourage the entry of young researchers into the most dynamic production contexts. The call is ongoing.

Scholarships for International Academies in ICT and Digital
€10 million

Launch of a new measure to support excellent training for students and graduates, through participation in international academies.

Measures to strengthen the regional innovative ecosystem
€5 million

New edition of the programme involving universities, incubators and accelerators, with the aim of stimulating the emergence and development of startups with high technological potential.

IUPALS project – Scholarships for Palestinian students
500 thousand euros

Co-financing of the project IUPALS to support the right to study of Palestinian students, through grants provided by participating universities in Campania. Selections are currently ongoing.
