A new digital remote-controlled radiological table has been installed at the ‘Luigi Vanvitelli’ University Hospital in Naples, replacing the old, now obsolete equipment.
It is a state-of-the-art technology that will allow faster and more precise examinations, improving image quality while reducing patients’ exposure to radiation. The purchase was made possible thanks to funding of around EUR 330 000 from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), which is intended to renew health technologies.
For the diagnostic imaging of ‘Vanvitelli’, a reference point for a wide range of users, the new table is a further step in offering patients increasingly safe and modern care.
