The 2021-2027 European programming cycle started at a time of particular complexity for the entire world economy. The challenge of the Campania Region has been to transform complexities into opportunities. With the fundamental contribution of the Campania Regional ERDF Programme 2021-2027, a major public investment plan is being implemented to make the Region stronger, modern and inclusive.

With the resources of the RP CAMPANIA FESR 2021 – 2027, approved in its first version by the European Commission in October 2022, the Campania Region has chosen to use the resources of the European cohesion policy to implement a major public investment programme structured around five ‘priority challenges’, aimed at strengthening the regional socio-economic system by making it more resilient, accompanying it in the digital and green transition process and helping to reduce economic, social, gender, generational and territorial inequalities.

In 2024 and 2025, Europe introduced new rules to address global challenges and support strategic technologies. Campania has seized this opportunity by reshaping the Program to increase the funds allocated to innovative interventions and close to the needs of citizens.
