The university center of San Giovanni a Teduccio turns 10 years old. To celebrate the results of the regeneration work carried out with the funds of the European cohesion policy of the Campania Region, the University of Naples Federico II organised – on 20 March 2026 – the event “Frederick II Unveiled. 10 years of San Giovanni a Teduccio”. The day will consist of permanent activities and guided tours (Naples – Corso Protopisani, 70 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.) offering participants the opportunity to discover closely the work of research, innovation and technology transfer that animates the university centre.

During the afternoon it will be possible to participate in a exhibition organised in three thematic areas, dedicated to knowledge, innovation and the enhancement of research.
Agora of Knowledge and development of reference contexts
A tour of the initiatives of Public Engagement and dissemination of the culture of Federico II University.
Teachers, researchers, PhD students, students will guide visitors to discover the research activities in the different areas of knowledge, telling projects, results and perspectives.
From research to the promotion of academic entrepreneurship
A path dedicated to the spin-offs of Federico II University, which will show how research can be transformed into innovation, business and impact on society.
Teachers and young researchers will illustrate some of the entrepreneurial initiatives born within the University.
The “forms” of research and innovation in the San Giovanni a Teduccio complex
A Live Demo dedicated to the activities, processes and products developed in the ten years of activity of the University of San Giovanni.
Through demonstrations and presentations it will be possible to observe how research and innovation take shape and become concrete applications.
Guided tours
In parallel to the exhibition activities there will be guided tours to explore the different realities that animate the Complex of San Giovanni a Teduccio.

The day will continue in the Aula Magna with a celebratory moment dedicated to the ten years of the university center of San Giovanni a Teduccio.
