At the Giffoni Film Festival, the 2023-2024 edition of the ‘A Scuola di Open Coesione’ civic monitoring project in partnership with the Campania Region will be presented.
In the Truffaut room, the Unit for the Implementation of the Communication Strategy of the ROP Campania ERDF and the project representatives A School of Open Cohesion presented to the jurors of category +16 the project of innovative teaching and monitoring of Cohesion Policies “ASOC”.
Born as part of the OpenCoesione initiative, coordinated by the Evaluation and Analysis Unit for Programming (NUVAP) of the Department for Cohesion Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Representation in Italy of the European Commission, the project aims to make participants carry out a thematic research to deepen the socio-economic, environmental and / or cultural characteristics of their territory starting from an intervention funded by Cohesion Policies on a topic of interest, chosen on the basis of information published in open format on the OpenCoesione portal, thus verifying how public policies intervene to improve the local context.
During the presentation, the Social Rescue team of the Liceo Fermi of Aversa, national winner of the A Scuola di Open Coesione 2022/2023 edition, visited the Festival facilities created with the co-financing of the European Cohesion Policy of the Campania Region.
During the presentation, the students, accompanied by the teachers of reference, told the jurors about their experience and the skills acquired in the monitoring of a project for the redevelopment of an area located in the municipality of Grazzanise, confiscated from organised crime, which will be converted into an educational farm and social garden where they can train professionals linked to the Campania buffalo mozzarella supply chain.
During the presentation was also presented a short video that summarized the trip organized by the Campania Region that led the first in the regional ranking, also of the Liceo Fermi in Aversa, visiting the European institutions in Brussels.
