An important step forward for the First Aid Unit of the Sant’Anna and San Sebastiano Hospital in Caserta: has been installed an state-of-the-art digital radiological system, intended to enhance diagnostics in emergency situations.

This is the Multitom Rax Siemens Healthcare, an innovative technology that allows rapid and high-precision examinations, minimizing waiting times and ensuring higher quality images. The equipment was purchased through a financing of about 330 thousand euros from National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), as part of the programme for the technological modernisation of health facilities.

For a department such as the Emergency Department, which daily deals with a high volume of accesses and critical cases, having state-of-the-art tools means concretely improving patient care. The new remote-controlled system allows radiologists to work in greater safety and speed, providing doctors with immediate and detailed information to make timely decisions in the most delicate moments.

The intervention is part of a broader plan for the renewal of health technologies, which aims to make hospitals in Campania not only more modern, but also more responsive to the needs of the population. For Sant’Anna and San Sebastiano, this new allocation represents an important step in a path that looks to the future with the aim of ensuring increasingly effective, timely and quality care.
