Work has started on the construction of the new operating plate of the Sant’Anna and San Sebastiano Hospital in Caserta, a strategic investment that will redesign the surgical heart of the main hospital in the province.
The project, financed with about 12 million euros from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), involves the birth of a modern building on two levels. There will be eight operating rooms, including a state-of-the-art hybrid room, designed to integrate different specialties and allow complex interventions with the support of the most innovative technologies.
The objective is clear: Ensuring patients receive increasingly high-quality care and putting professionals in the best position to work. The new facility, which is part of the NRRP’s ‘Towards a safe and sustainable hospital’ intervention, is an important step towards a more efficient, technological and community-friendly healthcare model.
