The deadline for applications for access to incentives for small and medium-sized enterprises wishing to invest in the self-generation of energy from renewable sources has been extended to 10 November 2025, at 12 noon.

The call is part of the European REPowerEU programme – Mission 7 of the NRRP and makes €320 million available at national level, with a reserve of €40 million.% for the Mezzogiorno regions and another equal share for micro and small enterprises.

SMEs active in Italy may participate, with the exception of certain sectors such as coal, primary agricultural production and fisheries. Investments must have a minimum value of 30 thousand euros and a maximum of one million euros. The contribution covers up to 40% expenditure on micro and small enterprises and up to 30% for averages. Additional incentives are also provided for storage systems and preliminary energy audits.

Requests should only be sent online through the platform of Invitalia, the entity managing the measure. With the extension, companies have a few more weeks to complete the demand and seize an opportunity that supports the reduction of energy costs and the transition to more sustainable production models.
