Presented, at the De Sanctis room of the Campania Region, Campania Architecture – Plural Territories – Festival of Architecture to be held in Campania from 15-28 April.
The conference, held in the De Sanctis room and moderated by Luigi Vicinanza, was attended by the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, the Regional Councillor for the Government of the Territory, Bruno Discepolo, the President of the Annali dell’Architettura e delle Città Foundation and Maria Vittoria Marini Clarelli, of the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture.
From 15 to 28 April through meetings, research and planning intends to investigate the plurality of the territories of Campania as an essential wealth from which to respond to the demands for change in society and the challenges of globalization.
At Villa Pignatelli, April 15, Naples, the opening conference of the Festival dedicated to landscape planning in Italy with the presentation of the publication on the preliminary Regional Landscape Plan. Two weeks of Living Lab will follow, through talks, design workshops, exhibitions, seminars, conferences and conferences, until the closing conference to be held on April 28 at Officine Vanvitelli with a final party in Alvignano dedicated to the relationship between Architecture and Food.
The festival wants promote and experiment with a new and open idea of architectural project, which integrates the needs of the places with community practices, with the aim of producing social innovation, to undertake new paths of activation of the territories, helping to co-build profoundly sustainable futures.
All the events of 2023 are ideally the culmination of a process that in recent years has led the Campania Region to promote architecture as one of the proactive components of change, as an action of territorial regeneration that can really affect the improvement of people’s lives.
