The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is one of the main financial instruments of the Cohesion policy of the EU. Its aim is to help bridge the disparities between the different levels of development of Europe's regions and to improve the standard of living in the least favoured regions.
The Regional Programme ERDF 2021-2027 of Campania (here the summary) contains indications for implementing a massive public investment programme (€5,534,632,274) structured around five “priority challenges”.
The program, in line with the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3), aims to strengthen the regional socio-economic system, contribute to the development of critical technologies for the future of the EU (STEP), facilitate the digital and green transition process and help reduce economic, social, gender, generational and territorial inequalities.
