A new project dedicated to those who want to propose initiatives capable of improving life in the neighborhoods and strengthening the social networks of the city has started in Naples: it is a question of “NEXT NAPLES – Where innovation meets community”, an initiative financed under the National programme ‘Metro Plus and Southern Middle Cities 2021–2027’ (Priority 4 – Social Inclusion and Innovation Services), supported by European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and from European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The operation, which is part of the project “Social Innovation Spaces”, eligible for funding for EUR 4 million, is directed to entities of the Third Sector (associations, social cooperatives, social enterprises, foundations) and Informal groups of citizens. The aim is to promote ideas that are useful to the community. support pathways of inclusion, cohesion and local development.
With the publication of thePublic Notice – Phase 1: Design accompaniment They will be Select up to 60 design ideas. The chosen proposers will have access to a path of mentoring e training to strengthen the skills, sustainability and social impact of its initiatives. Possible areas include: social inclusion, community welfare, youth entrepreneurship, education, environmental sustainability, sport, social tourism and culture.
Whoever completes Phase 1 will have access to the Step 2, which provides for non-repayable contributions from 50,000 to 140,000 euros for Third Sector Bodies and from 30,000 to 50,000 euros for informal groups (They will have to be in ETS to receive funding). The contribution can come up to 90% the value of the project, as provided for in the operation ‘Social Innovation Spaces’
