The States General of Culture 2025 in Campania, they represented an opportunity for strategic confrontation between culture, economy, development and territorial cohesion. The event, promoted by Campania Region through Scabec, with the coordination of the Directorate-General for Cultural Policies and Tourism and in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore, was held in Naples on 13 and 14 June the the Bellini Theatre and theAcademy of Fine Arts of Naples.
The event continued its in-depth analysis of the main trends and challenges of the cultural industries, consolidating the presence of Campania as a protagonist in national cultural policies, focusing on: cultural basins and territory, development policies 2025-2029, infrastructure, funds for operators, employment, museum system, tourism of the villages.
To underline the work done by the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo de Luca, He recalled that ‘from 2020 to 2025, the Campania Region invested EUR 800 million in culture’, promoting ‘international events, extraordinary exhibitions, breathing space for theatres, the audiovisual world, cinema and television’, and employing thousands of people in our region.

A central moment of the entire event, designed to foster dialogue between institutions, cultural and creative businesses, artists, associations and local operators.

Audiovisual and its related: the imaginary factory, with a focus on the creative and economic potential of the sector and new employment opportunities.
Digital and Artificial Intelligence: new challenges for culture, to reflect on the impact of emerging technologies in cultural production and fruition processes.
Enhancement of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, dedicated to the protection, promotion and innovative storytelling of local identities.
Theatre, dance and live entertainment, to discuss new support and growth strategies for performing arts.
Villages, paths and religious tourism, geared towards the sustainable development of territories through the integration of culture, nature and spirituality.
Music and its spaces, with particular attention to the enhancement of places and musical practices, between tradition and new scenes.
Publishing and the art of comics, to explore the creative and economic potential of written and drawn narratives.
Each table addressed a key area of the regional and national cultural system, with the aim of analysing critical issues, highlighting virtuous experiences and identifying concrete proposals to be returned the following day. The works were coordinated by leading experts and journalists, flanked by numerous authoritative witnesses of the cultural scene.
