The Campania Region has published the new Notice for Traineeships of the GOL Program. The aim is to give a concrete boost to employment by offering training and job integration courses designed for those who want to get back into work, especially those who live in situations of disadvantage or fragility.

The GOL (Guarantee of Employability of Workers) program focuses on the person, freedom of choice and the growth of skills. The Notice foresees two main instruments, extracurricular traineeships, for those seeking a first job or reintegration into employment, and inclusion traineeships, dedicated to those who need additional support to enter or re-enter the labour market.

The measure is one of the projects financed by the NRRP, according to the Ministry of Economy and Finance. More than €172 million is earmarked for Campania, an important figure for strengthening active labour policies and promoting social inclusion.

The GOL Programme aims to reach 3 million people by 2025. At least 75% the beneficiaries must belong to priority categories: women, the long-term unemployed, people with disabilities, young people under 30 and workers over 55.

Until further notice, authorisation to publish new offers for extracurricular traineeships is suspended, while the publication of offers for social inclusion traineeships is authorised.
