From 24 to 26 March, the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples will host ‘Meet Italian Brands 2025’, an event dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of the Campania fashion industry. The event was presented by the Councillor for Production Activities of the Campania Region, Antonio Marchiello, the Vice-President of the Naples Industrial Union Fashion Section, Tommaso D’Alterio, the President of CIS SpA, Andrea Miranda and the manager of the Industrial Partnership and Relations Office with the International Bodies of ICE, Matteo Masini, who spoke in liaison.

Created as part of the regional MO.DE.C consultation table, with the aim of strengthening fashion companies on the international scene, the initiative is inspired by the lines of the Smart Specialisation Strategy RIS3 of the Campania Region, as regards ‘Fashion, Made in Italy and Design’, whose objective, in the face of the necessary ongoing transitions and profound global changes, is to lay the fundamental conditions for the resilience and competitiveness of the entire Campania fashion production sector.

Meet Italian Brands 2025 is aimed at the textile, clothing (excluding underwear), leather goods, footwear and accessories sectors (excluding jewellery) and is dedicated to those working in the production of established brands, private label production, direct stores, franchise networks, retailers and multi-brands.

A unique event based on a centuries-old history of a sector very rooted in the territory that includes the entire production chain, from textiles to packaging, from creation to distribution and logistics.

The partners of the event promoted by Confindustria Campania and Unione Industriali Napoli are MODEC Regione Campania, ICE Agenzia per la promozione alestero e l’internazionalizzazione delle imprese, CIS – Interporto Campano, Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Mostra d’Oltremare and Fondazione Mondragone – Museo del Tessile e dell’Abbigliamento. Precisely at the latter structure, the only public museum in Italy dedicated to fashion, an anticipation will be held, on 21 March, with the presentation the Made in Italy Day 2025 dedicated to sustainable innovation and new markets”.

Thanks to the contribution of the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalisation of companies, more than 100 buyers and operators from 4 continents will be present. The strategic choice of the ECI was to pay particular attention to catching interlocutors in emerging business areas and first of all between those of the African continent and the non-EU shore of the Mediterranean. Observers and buyers will be the interlocutors of quality Private Label productions and Franchising companies.
