Students from the Istituto Tecnico Industriale ‘Giambattista Bosco Lucarelli’ in Benevento spent three days in Brussels discovering the European institutions. The initiative took place within the framework of the partnership that the Campania Region has with the project “A School of Open Cohesion” in which the students participated by monitoring one of the projects funded by the European cohesion policy.
The students, gathered in a working team, followed the renovation of a building to be used for social and welfare activities in Pacevecchia in Benevento, following its development and verifying the opportunities and difficulties that lie behind a public investment. Their monitoring work was awarded the first regional and national spot of the ASOC competition, in the 2024/2025 school year.
The Campania Region has therefore decided to reward them by bringing them physically to Brussels, on the occasion of the European Week of Regions and Cities, to give them a better understanding of the processes and institutions that give rise to the resources used in the territories through the work of bodies such as the regional one.
