The financial instruments made available by the European Cohesion Policy of the Campania Region have stimulated the business fabric of Campania, achieving the desired results. This figure emerges from the healthy state of the regional economy, which continues to grow strongly.

This was discussed during the Felix Industry Award, ‘The Campania that competes’, promoted by Industry Felix Magazine in collaboration with Cerved, with the patronage and co-organisation of the Campania Region, held in the Newton room of Città della Scienza.

During the meeting, the results of the 2023 budget survey were previewed by more than 20,000 joint-stock companies bells with a turnover of more than one million euros. The data confirm a strong regional economy. A concrete sign of vitality and dynamism of the productive fabric of Campania, which finds full expression in the 67 companies awarded as the most competitive, reliable and in some cases sustainable, according to an algorithm of objective analysis of financial statements.

“Really extraordinary results – commented the President of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca – also thanks to the support that the Campanian company received from the Region. We have promoted calls, we have promoted contributions, we have helped even when we had to charge interest with public guarantees for the bank credit requested by companies. We have truly extraordinary investment programmes underway, over EUR 3 billion for hospital construction alone, EUR 800 million for road and land-use planning works, and hundreds of millions of euros for water systems.”

Opportunities to which are added those promoted by new calls as recalled by the Councillor for Productive Activities and Labour Antonio Marchiello (disambiguation) He recalled the STEP call of €50 million “An open call – recalled Marchiello – that can also grow”. The figure includes projects with a minimum of 2.5 million. “As a Region, we have approved a 50 million call to help companies recruit.”

During the event, the Directorate-General for Economic Development of the Campania Region illustrated the new regional business support and investment attraction instruments, with the interventions of the Director-General Raffaella Farina and the manager Daniela Michelino.

"Campania is investing in innovation and diversification of markets - said Raffaella Farina - mainly because of Trump's tariff policy. The region invests in internationalization. We are back from Montreal where we promoted the aerospace sector and will soon be targeting the Saudi market and Japan, where we will participate in the Osaka Expo”.

Promoting the presence of new companies and foreign participation in Campania is a very important strategic lever for the growth of the economic system according to Daniela Michelino He recalled that ‘the Campania Region encourages these opportunities both with traditional services for foreign companies wishing to invest in Italy, but also with digital services’.
