The ranking of call SRD07 ‘Investment in infrastructure for agriculture and socio-economic development of rural areas – Action 1 Road networks serving rural areas’ of CSR Campania 2023-2027 has been published. The intervention provides for the construction, adaptation and expansion of public roads at the service of agricultural enterprises and local communities. The available financial envelope amounts to EUR 29 693 969.88 and will allow the financing of 61 interventions in an equal number of municipalities in Campania.

“With the publication of the ranking, we are giving a first, important response to the rural areas that have been waiting for strategic actions on roads for a long time, enhancing the accessibility and safety of our rural areas. These interventions will contribute to concretely improving the conditions of farms, workers, citizens and the entire local community, restoring dignity to areas often neglected compared to the most frequented areas, on which local administrations normally tend to concentrate resources. Rehabilitation and upgrading of rural roads is part of a broader strategy to tackle depopulation, increase services and make agricultural areas more attractive as places of residence and work. The response of the territory for this specific intervention of the Complement of Rural Development has been much broader than expected in terms of applications submitted, testifying to the need for re-adaptation of the places. The administrative path has therefore generated the construction of a substantial heritage of ready-made executive projects, available to local administrations. After this first step, we aim to explore and identify alternative or complementary solutions to scale up such initiatives and further strengthen road networks serving agriculture and rural areas.”

The provisional ranking, approved by Executive Decree No 48 of 12 February 2026, is available on the Agriculture portal of the Campania Region and on the outgoing issue of the Official Bulletin.
