The innovation ecosystem of Campania found itself at Innovation Village, a platform that brings together companies, startups, research bodies and institutions to discuss technologies, sustainability and development based on the resources put in place by Europe both as a Commission and as a Space Agency, but also by the European Innovation Council and the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP), as commented by Valeria Fascione (disambiguation), Campania Regional Councillor for Research and Innovation.
Now in its tenth edition, the event, directed by Annamaria New Year's Eve, It was attended by a total of 120 companies and almost 300 speakers, addressing strategic topics such as artificial intelligence, healthcare, biorobotics and the circular economy, hosting around 3,000 participants for two days and confirming its central role in the innovation ecosystem.
Among the companies that have exhibited their innovative solutions, many Startups financed through the European cohesion policy resources of the Campania Region (Startup Call).
Among the most important innovations, an app to optimize the Renewable Energy Communities, one organic mulch to eliminate the microplastics from the soil, a system of monitoring of energy consumption, a system of sustainable shipping and a cellulose fibre biomaterial produced by bacteria without cutting down trees to make dresses and other objects.
