buses delivered to be used for local public transport<\/strong> in the metropolitan areas and in the provinces of Salerno and Avellino. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"New buses for sustainable local public electrical<\/strong> intended for urban service and 43 (of which 23 two-storey), with liquid methane (LGN) and diesel fuel of the latest generation, used in the extra-urban service. \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In compliance with the ecological transition criteria introduced in the bus purchase procedures, the new vehicles have a low environmental impact and are equipped with a series of features that make travel more accessible, safe and comfortable, including platforms for access for weak users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On each vehicle are installed the electronic equipment of the \u201c<strong>Intelligent system of collective transport of Campania<\/strong>\u201d (ITS-C) that allow to monitor the service and safety on board, as well as to communicate with users to inform them promptly in case of news on the line, improving the reliability, regularity and punctuality of the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The new buses reduce fuel consumption and pollution and increase comfort and safety.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presentation of Salerno, which <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/5nu086em8-c\">follows that of Caserta<\/a> This past November, he joined a <strong>Rolling stock renewal programme<\/strong> which, at the end of 2024, will see the 60th% vehicles in circulation composed of modern, safe and low-emission vehicles <strong>(1665 new buses on <strong>2.856<\/strong><\/strong> circulating in 2017). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The supplies came from different financial sources (POR FESR 2014-2020, PON Infrastrutture e reti \u2013 REACT EU, Fondi DM81\/2020, Fondi DM 81\/2020) which were used in an integrated manner, as explained by <strong>Maria Theresa of Matthias<\/strong> Director-General of the Campania Agency for Mobility, Infrastructure and Networks (<a href=\"https:\/\/acamir.regione.campania.it\/\">ACaMIR<\/a>), to maximise results and implement the ecological transition required and supported by the<strong>European Union<\/strong> through the <strong>Cohesion policy<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An important result, as underlined by <strong>Sergio Negro (disambiguation)<\/strong>, Managing Authority of PR Campania FESR, which emphasised the Campania Region\u2019s commitment to sharing Europe\u2019s focus on the environment, using Cohesion Policy resources for a total transformation of local public transport, to make the purchase of an exceptional amount of new vehicles on both rail and road. A decisive contribution, the European one, which will continue in 21-27 relaunching the role of cities as actors of change. Some buses, in fact, have been purchased with the funds of the Program for medium cities <strong>PICS 2014-2020<\/strong>.
