The implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) is entering a crucial phase with a view to achieving the Ninth instalment, as provided for in the European timetable. The monitoring updated in March 2026 shows an articulated picture: on the one hand, the Plan continues to advance the planned targets; on the other hand, there are elements of reprogramming and financial realignment that affect overall management and territorial dynamics, with particular emphasis on the Campania Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
National progress of the NRRP and the financial framework<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
According to the monitoring dossier of the Parliamentary Studies Service, the Italian NRRP includes 7 Missions and 224 measures, for a total budget of 194.4 billion euro . The document highlights that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the financial programming has been updated in the light of the amendments approved by the EU Council on 27 November 2025 and 30 March 2026;<\/li>\n\n\n\n

Campania in the NRRP: progress and achievements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The Campania Region confirms a central role in the implementation of the NRRP, both in terms of the volume of investments and the variety of interventions activated. Campania has made significant progress in the implementation of the NRRP, in particular in Mission 6 \u2013 Health, where the Region has completed the objectives set for the monitoring period. The deployment of new high-tech health equipment and the start-up of Community hospitals and homes are evidence of a concrete strengthening of territorial assistance and an improvement in diagnostic capacity. The acceleration of recent months has made it possible to consolidate the network of local services, making a significant contribution to achieving the national targets linked to the Ninth instalment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In parallel, the Region has advanced in other strategic areas of the Plan. In the field of tourism, a regional observatory has been set up to analyse flows and support programming, with the aim of improving the quality of supply and the competitiveness of the area. On the social policy front, Campania has defined a specific programming for people with neurodevelopmental and autism spectrum disorders, financed with dedicated resources and built in collaboration with local autonomies. The process of strengthening the governance of the third sector also continued, with interventions aimed at the reorganization of strategic bodies for regional welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monitoring updated in March 2026 shows a NRRP at an advanced stage, with a significant acceleration in the regions most involved in implementing the measures. Campania stands out for the completion of key targets in the Health Mission, for the activation of innovative tools in tourism and for the social programming financed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For Campania, a region among the first in Italy in terms of volume of resources allocated, the progress capacity recorded in the first quarter of 2026 represents a positive element in view of the European verification of the Ninth installment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
