The waterfront of Castellammare di Stabia and the tank top Marco Di Costanzo are the protagonists of one of the episodes of the docuseries Alè Europe In the course of which the champions of sport tell about European projects. Twelve episodes during which stories of victories, falls and rebirths of champions of the Italian sports scene are told, in parallel with the story of successful projects made possible thanks to European Union funds.

In the episode dedicated to Marco Di Costanzo and Castellammare di Stabia (HERE THE VIDEO), the Olympic champion of Rio de Janeiro 2016 and Tokyo 2020 recounts his sporting and life experience, while the Councillor for the Government of the Territory and Urban Planning of the Campania Region, Bruno Disciple, refers to the reconstruction of the Castellammare di Stabia coastline, carried out under the Campania ERDF (P.I.U. Europe) programme. A symbolic place, from which the the Abbagnale brothers have written the history of Italian rowing in the world, which wants to return to being a starting point for the relaunch of the entire city.

In this episode, the passion for sport and territorial strategies become the protagonists of a communication action, wanted by the European Commission, in which the attention of the Campania Region emerges for the regeneration of the medium-sized cities that make up its territory. Commitment that continues also in the 2021-2027 programming, with a new Urban Development Strategy as described by Councillor Disciple precisely from the Castellammare di Stabia waterfront.
