From 5 to 11 December, the Campania Region was one of the protagonists of the Sistema Paese at the Dubai Universal Exhibition, a global showcase of innovative ideas, projects and models.
The participation of the Region at the Italian Pavilion of Expo Dubai was characterized by institutional moments and cultural workshops with initiatives that for a week had as their theme Territory and Agriculture, Tourism and Culture.
During the week, events were held to present ‘Destinazione Campania’, the Digital Ecosystem for Culture, Campania’s food and wine products and the arts of ‘Saper fare campano’.
The official opening took place on Sunday 5 December with the opening of the exhibition to the public THE ‘FARE CAMPANO’ BETWEEN PRESENT, PAST, FUTURE the showcases of the Italian Pavilion showcasing the creativity and excellence of Campania’s production.
On 6 December, in the Italian Pavilion’s Amphitheatre room, the presentation of theDigital ecosystem for the culture of the Campania Regiona.
December 7th was the Regional Day of Campania at EXPO. The day opened with the event ‘Campania Divina, Local Tradition and Lifestyle’ and ‘Il saper fare Campano’ A presentation of regional territories, intangible heritage, know-how and tourism policies was held. Also in the Amphitheatre room, in the afternoon, it was the agri-food sector that was on stage with two meetings Horty/Healty cultural e Deeper than a plate They have turned the spotlight on health-oriented food production and innovation in the agri-food supply chains.
At the same time, in the Accademia room of the Italian Pavilion, they were staged two workshops dedicated to craft bells.
The programme was carried out by the Department of Tourism, Department of Agriculture, Directorate-General for Cultural Policies and Tourism and implemented through the Campania Regional Tourism Agency. The Campania Region will also be present in the Italian Pavilion during the week from 6 to 12 February 2022 – under the theme ‘Enterprises, Research and Innovation’.
