At the Giffoni Film Festival the Campania Region brings the contribution of the councilors Valeria Fascione (disambiguation) (Research, Innovation and Start-up) and Armida Filippeli (Professional training).

Engaged in two meetings, in the Multimedia Valley, the representatives of the Giunta De Luca spoke about the support that the Region is giving and intends to give to the new generations through the creation of places and training courses able to stimulate creativity and talent.

Satisfied with the great adhesion to the discussion panel on theIdentifiers of Innovation Regional Councillor for Research, Innovation and Startup Valeria Fascione, who gathered around a table Luca Tesauro (CEO Giffoni Innovation Hub), Francesca Ottier (Head of Fondo Italia Venture II – Fondo Imprese Sud di CDP Venture Capital Sgr), Dario Scacchetti (CEO StartupItalia), Sebastian Caputo (CEO 012 Factory), Pasquale Brancaccio (Director General Incubator Campano srl), Hamlet Picerno Ceraso (CEO Medaarch), Maximus Varro (disambiguation) (Director Campania NewSteel), Pierluigi Rippa (Director of StartCup Campania), Giampiero Bruno (CDE Coordinator – Napoli Est Incubator), Maximilian Imbimbo (disambiguation) (COO Incubator SEI (Avellino), Joseph Melara (disambiguation) (CEO In Cibum Lab – FMTS Group), Sabino Di Matteo (Site Head Novartis, Torre Annunziata Establishment), Roberto Ascione (CEO Healthware Group).

“This type of meeting makes it possible to share strategies and gather suggestions together with those who animate the regional innovation ecosystem. – said Mr Fascione – Our responsibility is to create value opportunities tailored to the Next Generation of our region. We have achieved satisfactory results that have allowed us to receive the trust of the financial system and to be taken as an example by the NRRP. (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) as regards the model of the Academies of the Polo Unina of San Giovanni a Teduccio. Recognitions that encourage us to do even more. The budget for our activities in the programming of the European Funds for the period 21-27 has remained unchanged. (approximately EUR 600 million between ERDF PR and ESF PR) It will allow us to continue to grow our territory by investing in research, innovation, technology transfer, start-ups and the enhancement of our talents.”

The dream team of the Giffoni Innovation Hub also participated in the discussion. A team of young talents grappling with business needs for innovative and creative projects.

The Councillor for Vocational Training, Armida Filippelli, met with Marco Rossi-Doria President of the Social Enterprise With Children, the giffoners of the IMPACT category or a selection of young people, aged 18 to 30, who have applied to meet representatives of institutions, culture, entertainment, representatives of the world of science, writers, sociologists, intellectuals and people who are able to mark an era.

The councillor shares Giffoni’s model, considering it a miracle of visionary resilience, because it creates the fascination necessary for young people to discover their talents, challenging the times, with the necessary skills.

In order to do this, the Councillor refers to a sentence pronounced by the President of the Campania Region. Vincenzo De Luca, on the day of his inauguration: ‘Campania must have a soul’.

“This is something that I carry with me – continued the councillor – because it is a Kantian imperative for me, that is to invest in human capital. We must be vigilant, we must cultivate talents, be close to those who have lost their way, to those who have not had equal opportunities, to women who come out sacrificed by this moment of pandemic, to fragile people, to fragile parents.

“The season of thinking that learning is a small phase of life is over. All works are updated to be digitized and sustainable. A large and continuous investment is therefore needed.”
