The Campania Region has allocated 10 million euros intended for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises operating in the field of medical devices for human use. Funding as per Executive Decree No 785/2022 (rectified from Executive Decree No 799/2022) will support, from a minimum of EUR 50 000 to a maximum of EUR 2 million, the preparatory activities for achieving EU conformity, CE marking and the UDI code, helping to improve competitive positioning, reduce the environmental impact and increase safety in the working environment of companies in Campania.
RECIPIENTS
Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises operating in the development, manufacture of medical devices and their accessories (for the listing of medical devices and the division into risk classes, reference is expressly made to Article 51 of Regulation MDR 745/2017 and Annex VIII thereto.) having their registered office or local production unit, which is the recipient of the intervention, in the regional territory.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION
Applications for aid may be submitted by certified email to supportomdr@pec.regione.campania.it. from 12 noon on 12 October 2022.
Projects will be subject to a preliminary phase and an evaluation phase following which the grant will be granted until the available funds have been exhausted.
An application may also be submitted for financing the placing on the market, making available on the market and putting into service of several new or existing medical devices.
The application for facilitation and its annexes must be completed in the original electronic format, digitally signed and attached to the CEC for submission.
