With resolution no. 655 the Campania Region approved the Smart Specialization Strategy Update Document regional.
For the 2021-2027 programming period, the document reaffirms the centrality of the Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3), strengthening its relevance and broadening its scope of intervention and transversality relating to all regional policies and areas of intervention.
The updated document is the result of a long process of interaction initiated with the consultation of companies, the research system, the public administration and civil society through the Open Innovation platform of the Department for Research, Innovation and Start-up, as well as participation in the self-assessment process coordinated by the Department for Cohesion Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and comparison with the offices of the European Commission (Joint Research Center / DG Regio) also acquiring the results of the National Laboratory for Research Policies.
The document also contains a number of annexes relating to the strategic sectors for the regional ecosystem of Campania.
