Masterplan/PIV – Valle dell’Ufita

The Campania Region, through the resources of the European cohesion policy, is investing in the implementation of integrated works programmes capable of triggering territorial, environmental and landscape regeneration processes, which have significant economic and employment implications.

The Masterplan – Integrated Valorisation Programme is the planning and programming tool chosen to develop the economy of key areas of the territory. The target area of the Valle dell’Ufita Masterplan/PIV is the municipalities of Ariano Irpino, Bonito, Flumeri, Frigento, Gesualdo, Grottaminarda, Melito Irpino, Montaguto, Savignano Irpino, Sturno and Villanova del Battista.

A buffer area is integrated into the target area according to specific enhancement guidelines (ecological and landscape, identity heritage, production) which includes all the municipalities of the Association of Municipalities of Ufita, Calore, Miscano and Cervaro not included in the target area, namely: Carife, Casalbore, Castel Baronia, Fontanarosa, Greci, Luogosano, Mirabella Eclano, Montecalvo Irpino, Paternopoli, San Nicola Baronia, San Sossio Baronia, Sant’Angelo all’Esca, Scampitella, Taurasi, Trevico, Vallesaccarda, Zungoli.
