The Campania Region has chosen the Masterplan as a planning and programming tool useful for the economic development of nodal areas of its territory.
The opportunity offered by the Masterplan makes it possible to equip oneself with a tool capable of triggering processes of territorial, environmental and landscape regeneration, which produce significant economic and employment implications.
The strategy for the implementation of the Masterplan is defined through a process that sees the involvement of institutional actors and private subjects.
Currently five Masterplans have been started, of which the first three on the regional coast line
the Masterplan – Integrated Programme for the Enhancement of the Domitio-Flegreo coast, was approved in its final drafting by Regional Executive Decision No 435 of 3 August 2020.
The second is the Masterplan – Integrated Programme for the Exploitation of the Coast Salerno South, also approved at the final level by Regional Executive Decision No 426 of 12 July 2023.
