Masterplan Litorale Salerno Sud, final project, resources and new governance

The Campania Region has approved the Final project of the Masterplan Integrated Programme for the Enhancement of the Salerno South Coast (Regional Executive Decision No 426 of 12 July 2023).

The Programme Decision €20 million for the financial coverage of the start of the priority actions of the Masterplan and Expands the governance system, including the Province of Salerno through the approval of an Addendum to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Campania Region and the municipalities included in the Masterplan (Capaccio-Paestum, Salerno, Pontecagnano Faiano, Bellizzi, Battipaglia, Eboli, Agropoli, Castellabate) in November 2019.

The resources are from PR FESR Campania 2021/2027 – Policy Objective V ‘Integrated Territorial Development’ – Specific Objective – 5.1. Promoting integrated and inclusive social, economic and environmental development, culture, natural heritage, sustainable tourism and security in urban areas – Action 5.1.1 “Supporting the implementation of urban development strategies”.
