Registration is now open for the Regiostars competition, organised by the European Commission – Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy, which awards each year the best projects funded under cohesion policy.
All projects that have received funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF – including Interreg), the European Social Fund (ESF), the Just Transition Fund and any component of Interreg programmes are eligible to participate.
With reference to funding periods, both 2014-2020 and 2021-2027 projects are eligible.
Only completed and in-use projects are eligible.
There are six categories in which you can compete:
- "A competitive and smart Europe"
- "A Green Europe"
- "A Connected Europe"
- "A social and inclusive Europe"
- “A Europe closer to its citizens”
- Theme of the year: the European Year of Skills 2023
Registration closes on 31 May 2023.
The winners will be selected by an independent jury of high-level experts and announced during the REGIOSTARS ceremony in Ostrava, Czech Republic, on 16 November 2023.
