The protocol establishing the ‘Table for assessing the social, economic and employment impact of the NRRP’, which includes the Campania Region, the Union of Provinces of Italy Campania, the National Association of Italian Municipalities of Campania, Confindustria Campania Regionale, CGIL Campania, CISL Campania and UIL Campania, was signed in the ‘De Sanctis’ room of Palazzo Santa Lucia.
On the sidelines of the signing, the president of the Campania regional government, Vincenzo De Luca, commented. “After the absolutely provocative intervention of Minister Fitto, I renew the dry question to the Government: when you bring together Cipess to accredit the Development and Cohesion Funds. After 9 months, essential works and construction sites for the South are still blocked. Everything else is smoke.”
“It is said that we want to coordinate the actions of the NRRP with those of European funds. That's good. And who lob does this coordination if not the Regions. And who should ensure spending capacity: ministries that are twice as inefficient as those institutions that have not shown spending capacity?”
“It is time to put an end to the communication scam that is taking place. For the South there are only two proposals: 1) Make the South a single large Special Economic Zone (SEZ). 2) Launch a recruitment plan for three hundred thousand young people in the South, with accelerated procedures, before the desertification of our territories is completed’.
