Aerospace, one of the ecosystems with the greatest growth potential in the Campania Region, was the first theme of the Innovation Village, an event that, for two days (10-11 May), through conferences, workshops, working tables and one-to-one meetings, turned the spotlight on the ten ecosystems that make up the Campania Region’s Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3).

The conference, which was attended by, among others, Valeria Fascione (disambiguation), Campania Regional Councillor for Research, Innovation and Startups,  Luigi Carrino (disambiguation), President of DAC Distretto Aerospaziale della Campania, Antonio Blandini, President of CIRA – Centro Italiano Ricerche Aerospaziale, Maria Victoria of Inzeo, European Commission, DG DEFIS and Valeria Catalano, the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), was dedicated to the international opportunities offered by the Space Economy with the presentation of the opportunities both of its own programmes for in-flight validation, for in-flight testing of aerospace components and also of all the programmes envisaged by Horizon Europe in terms of the space economy.

Continuing its path on the priority technological trajectories of Ris3 in the field of space research and innovation, the Campania Region has therefore proposed two exclusive moments of information and promotion on the renewed opportunities for all economic and non-economic operators.
